Schedule of Special Events

May 1 – Movie Outing @ Trillium Theater (Grand Blanc) || Soul Surfer
Soul Surfer is the inspiring true story of teen surfer Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm in a shark attack and courageously overcame all odds to become a champion again, through the love of her family, her sheer determination and unwavering faith.

*** We will be attending the earliest showing after church (approximately 2:00 PM)

May 8 – Mother's Day ||  Baby Dedication
Make sure to either bring your mom and/or come with your mom on this special day to celebrate all things mom.

Baby dedication is a recognition that all children are gifts from the Lord and is an act of committing oneself publicly to raising the child in a manner pleasing to the Lord. For more information about baby dedication please contact the church office.

May 15 – Skate Night @ Rollhaven (Pierson Rd. in Flushing)
This is one of the yearly favorites. We will once again be renting out the entire Rollhaven Skating Rink from 5:30 – 7:30 PM. This year we will be using the Rollhaven located off Pierson Road in Flushing. Admission is $5.00 per person or $10 per family (all guests are FREE). Cost includes skating, rentals, laser tag, bounce houses, pizza and pop. (Feel free to bring in other snacks to share, concession stand will not be open).

May 22 – Bowling at Grand Blanc Lanes
Spring will be in the air, but bowling is a great year-round event. This event is for the entire family. We will have lanes available for the kids (with and without the guard rails), and we will have lanes available for the adults (with and without the guard rails). Times and prices will be announced at a later date. 

May 29 – Church Picnic @ Pavilion
Immediately following the 11:30 service stick around for the unofficial "summer is almost here" Memorial Day celebration with a roasted pig (and burgers and hotdogs too). There will also be volleyball, horse shoes and other typical yard games.

*** Falling in love is the easy part. But staying there? That’s something else entirely. On Wednesday nights at 6:30 and Sunday mornings at 10:00 there will be a couple’s Bible study entitled Staying In Love.
