Sunday Mornings

The book of James asks the question, “What good is it if you say you have faith but don’t show it through your actions?” During the month of June learn several practical principles to help put your faith to work. The month will end with a community work day.

June 20       Small Acts Can Make A Big Splash

For the second summer in a row you will control the topics for this series in July. Each week will focus on the questions you wanted answered ranging from America’s spiritual heritage to world religions and about everything in between. This series will also carry over to the Wednesday night Bible study (see below).

July 11       Got Questions (Week 2)

July 18       Got Questions (Week 3)

July 25       Got Questions (Week 4)

Everyone needs a hero to look up to. Unfortunately in our world many of our heroes have let us down. During August take a look at some true heroes ... ones found in the Scriptures that can teach us eternal principles.

August 8     David: A Man of Passion and Destiny

August 15   Esther: A Woman of Strength and Dignity

August 22   Joseph: A Man of Integrity and Forgiveness

August 29   Moses: A Man of Selfless Dedication

Summer Midweek

Pavilion Bible Study (PBS): Each week our adults (college age up) will be meeting in our new pavilion for a casual time of Bible study followed by sand volleyball, yard games and bonfires.

Each Wednesday in July the topics will be in response to your questions about world religions, denominations and various Baptist groups.

SLAM (youth ministries): Our teenagers will be teaming up with other churches in town. Each week we will meet at the Solid Rock and rotate to other cooperating churches for a great time of Bible Study, worship, and games.
